A beautiful, relaxed and friendly workshop in the Albert Hall in Ballater, where you will learn useful floristry techniques to create your own wearable florals! This could be a pin-on buttonhole or brooch/corsage, a wrist corsage or hair comb. We will start simple and make a couple each to wear for Victoria Week!
Materials we will use will include ribbons, wires, paper wire, twine, pins and brooch backs along with fresh and dried flower elements and textural pieces such as feathers and cones, beech masts, grasses and twigs. If you have something you’d like to add, a pretty shell? a scrap of fabric? beads? please bring them along.
(This is for adults but older children/teens would manage and anyone under 18 needs an adult booked on as well please.)
Everything you need will be provided and you will be supported so that everyone leaves with something unique and handmade to wear!
