About workshops: tactile, sensory, creativity….

Why not spend some time with nature and unleash your creativity? I love teaching floral workshops.. I provide everything you need and share some of my flower inspirations, experience and passion along the way. We have a relaxed and fun time and everyone is supported so that we all go home having made something unique and natural and beautiful! I love passing on the skills that amazing flower women have taught me since my first flower job on Deeside at the age of 15 and all the way to Glasgow, via Melbourne. Having returned here, to the highlands in Royal Deeside, these now include more sustainable ways to source and use flowers and foraged materials so you can go on use the skills and techniques learned in your own imaginative ways! (Please feel free to contact me to arrange a bespoke workshop for you or a small group.)

Seasonal Workshops Available

MINI WREATH WORKSHOP

not just for winter!

Using locally grown and foraged flowers and plants, learn how to create a simple wreath to symbolise the wheel of the year, turning. Celebrate any season with dried or fresh flowers.

WEARABLE FLOWERS WORKSHOP

crowns, corsages, buttonholes…

Adorn yourself with wearable flowers. Learn useful, sustainable floristry techniques to turn botanical materials into jewellery, hair flowers and adornments for all festive occasions…and the everyday!

I can design bespoke creative workshops for the season or occasion.

Workshops can be designed for individuals or groups of varying sizes depending on the activity. Above are three example of workshops that work at all times of year and are a gorgeous way to spend a tranquil morning or afternoon making, connecting and being creative.

I can put together workshops for locals looking to learn something new, have fun with friends or enhance their floristry skills. Visitors staying in Braemar might enjoy planning a creative activity for one morning of their stay (I can come to you) … to take time to slow down and play with natural, sensory materials and colour.

More ambitious full day workshops can be planned for those wanting to go deeper with their creative practice in our beautiful surroundings here in Braemar.
